We, at the York County Heritage Trust, are proud of our strong commitment to providing the community with quality educational tours and programming. With so many quality programs, our many sites are the ideal place for a school field trip or group outing! Every year we serve thousands of local school children. However, our programs are not limited to school groups. Scout troops, church children's groups, day care providers and other children's groups are encouraged to take advantage of the many opportunities that the Trust has to offer. York County Heritage Trust sites include the Historical Society Museum and Library, Agricultural and Industrial Museum, Fire Museum, General Gates House, Golden Plough Tavern, Bobb Log House, Colonial Court House, Bonham House and numerous exterior murals. We do provide tours and programs to educational members and non-members alike, however, our educational membership is an economical way to utilize the offerings of the Trust. Educational members pay a minimal fee that covers all on-site programs offered on the numerous trust sites for an entire year. Call the Education Department today at (717) 846-6452 for more information concerning this opportunity. Furthermore we have programming designed specifically for the adult visitor. Each year the Trust serves numerous adult tourists who travel in groups to visit our sites.
