During the spring of 2012, the Trust partnered with Central York High School to create two videos highlighting York's Colonial heritage through the Trust's Colonial Complex and Murals. Each of the programs offered by the York County Heritage Trust conforms to the History Standards defined by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Thanks to a partnership between York College of Pennsylvania (YCP) and the Trust, education majors enrolled in the course "Seminar in Curriculum" are tasked with creating grade specific content, curriculum, and lesson plans that incorporated visits, outreach programs, hands-on activities or other concepts and themes related to the general history of York County as the whole, and the relation to the museums, historic sites, or collections of the Trust. The Trust is grateful for the commitment of York College of Pennsylvania and the dedicated students who have given their time and talents to enhance the educational resources and offerings of the York County Heritage Trust. Educator's Slate Survey
The Education Department at York County Heritage Trust would like you to tell us how we can better serve you.
