The Oyster Festival is the longest running special event of the York County Heritage Trust. Festival attendees should be prepared to feast on a plethora of good eats and thirst-quenching drinks. Attendees to last year's event consumed more than 10,000 oysters (stewed, nude and fried) and other festival favorites including apple fritters and many comfort foods like delicious BBQ sandwiches, creamy Mac & Cheese and an array of tasty baked goods!

In addition to festival goers feeding colonial appetites, they enjoy a day of heritage family fun. There will be live entertainment while you dine and the Agricultural & Industrial Museum will again be filled with living history and artisan demonstrations, and hands-on activities interpreting York's long and rich heritage.
