JOIN & CONTRIBUTE - Auxiliary

The York County Heritage Trust Auxiliary provides tremendous support, service and financial aid to the York County Heritage Trust. The Auxiliary began and still operates a number of signature events including Fastnacht Day, Mother's Day Ice Cream Parlor and the Annual Turkey Trot among other events and programs. Each year the Auxiliary provides funding to the YCHT to support its programs and services. In 2011-2012 the Auxiliary provided generous support to the 37th Annual Oyster Festival, the Museum Apprentece program and the York County Heritage Trust Information Technology Infrastructure.

Pick up the perfect stocking stuffer, hostess gift, snack or dessert in the 12 ounce wrapped packages, then use a bag or two of the Mommoth Halves for baking in pies, pecan crusted chicken, stuffing or more! Act fast, some varieties sell out before the holidays. Each bag sells for $10.

Fastnacht Day - Tuesday, February 12, 2013 - Participate in the rich heritage of our region by feasting on Fastnachts! Historically, these "doughnuts" were made to use the fat in the house before the fasting season, today the Auxiliary helps us continue that tradition. Join us at the Historical Society Museum & Library, 250 East Market Street. The event is FREE!

Ice Cream Parlor - Sunday, May 12, 2013 - Treat Mom to an ice cream sundae, a root beer float and much more on her special day. During the Mother's Day Street Fair, please visit the Historical Society Museum & Library to get yours. Come early, some flavors sell out!
