The Oyster Festival is the longest running Special Event of the York County Heritage Trust.  Festival attendees should be prepared to fest their eyes on a plethora of good eatins’ and thirst-quenching drinks.  Since it is held on the grounds of the Colonial Complex, not only will you be able to eat your heart out, but you’ll be feeding your colonial appetite as well with Colonial Days.  Join colonial artisans, farmers, soldiers and housewives in colonial dance.  Feel like playing games?  Then test your eye-hand coordination as you enjoy the numerous children’s activities – educational of course!  Feel like you need some order in your life?  Join the Pennsylvania Militia as they drill on the green.  These events plus many more, coupled with good food and spirits make this an entertaining, unforgettable, and educational experience.
