Guided Walking Tours
Manchester Township Civil War author and veteran lecturer Scott L. Mingus, Sr. is now available to lead guided tours of various sites in York County associated with the Gettysburg Campaign. For a free-will donation to the York County Heritage Trust, Mingus will present a customized tour of your choosing. Individual sites and tours include the Skirmish of Wrightsville and the burning of the Columbia-Wrightsville Bridge; York under the Rebel Flag; Hanover Junction, the Battle of Hanover, and J.E.B. Stuart's Ride through York County. Other topics can be covered as requested. Tours are done on an open schedule to be mutually determined, and will last between 2 and 4 hours depending upon the topic and interest level.
